- Friday morning: We adventured at the Rory Meyers Children's Park at the Dallas Arboretum. I can't believe it's taken us this long to get here. And I found out I have a bunch of free passes w/ my membership. Sweet! We will be back. A Lot. Garden meets hands-on learning, meets water play, meets fantasty land. This place is super cool.
- Friday afternoon: Oh yea, the kiddos slept until 5. Annie & I watched junk tv & vegged!
- Friday night: we picked up Trey at his downtown convention & headed to Deep Ellum for Mexican!
- Saturday morning: we hit up Grapevine. Bottlecap alley breakfast to-go, watched planes at Founder's Park, played at Casey's Clubhouse (handicapped-equipped incredible playground), then to Dove Pool for waterplay
- Saturday afternoon: the kiddos slept alllll afternoon again. I napped. ahhhhh
- Saturday evening: we all went out for pizza, fun times
- Sunday: big rainstorms. all. day. Both families hung out in our pjs, cooked breakfast, watched movies, everyone napped. It was a day for the record books. Totally relaxing, in the company of friends. Candles lit, music and/or tv going, thunder & lightning. awesome.
- Sunday night: The Mayos were supposed to fly out but we were able to have them 1 more night b/c their flight got cancelled. Wish we would have known that in the 2 hours that Nick & I missed their calls because we were (yes again) napping!
- Monday: they left at 5:45am. Until next time.... 2015 North Carolina beach trip is official in motion!
